to tylerprince32, telling someone to get blinds is completely reasonable, If they think someone is watching them. In the same way someone worried about being mugged could choose to carry a weapon, or panic button, someone who believes they are being watched, can choose to install blinds. The fact that you are unable to accept the possibility that someone should take responsibility for their own safety, is completely ridiculous. Blindly expecting someone to protect you is clearly disproven hear, as shown by the fact that the perpetrator was in a position of authority. Luckily the parents of the victim were able to find the perpetrator without the help of the police, because the help of the police would have simply protected the perpetrator.
This sounds like a modified version of the Family Guy episode in which Meg dell in live with Joe. Funny how her name's Meg and her neighbor's a police
Well if someone was dating at you trough the window at night, I thinks curtain or blinds would be something to look into.
OKAY, EVERYONE can stop telling OP to get blinds or curtains, I'm sure she has them. And she is only human, of course she would think it was alright to leave them open at night, until something happened. AND who's to say the blinds were completely open? Maybe it was down, but the blades were open.
Use a bear trap next time. He will never do it again.
Hey Meg, was his name Joe by any chance?
Hopefully you got evidence of the peeping and Christabelle informed his precinct.
so you know there is a peeping tom, how did you not think of not changing in front of the window wtf

Wouldn't it be nice if they invented some sort of way to cover your window to keep people from looking at? Maybe even add an easy way to uncover it if you want the view outside during the day. Oh, wait. They did.
Thank god you caught him! If you had just reported a peeping tom, he just would've gotten sneakier and you wouldn't have known. And, people shouldn't NEED blinds to keep people from looking in their bedroom windows at night! In a perfect world, people would respect others' privacy.
