That ticket won't stand up in court, especially with the arresting officer's relationship to your ex. Fight it!

Hire a good lawyer and not only get the ticket dismissed but also go for police harassment. That will prevent this officer from pulling this bullshit again.

Fight it in court. 1 MPH over isn't enough to issue a ticket, it could be error in the speedar.

If you have AAA they will pay the lawyer and court costs. definitely worth fighting as it will never stand up in court.
