Today, I finally worked up the courage to break up with my boyfriend. His parents weren't able to pick him up for 5 hours. I ended up taking him to a movie to kill time and end on a positive note, but now he thinks we're cool and back on track. FML

Today, I finally got up the nerve to leave my boyfriend. We have no spark and quite honestly, it's been really awkward. I planned to tell him when he came in, and I did. Sometimes it feels like it's impossible to get out of a bad relationship, and when you finally have the chance, something comes up. I was about to break up with my ex and then his grandad died, after that it was his birthday. I ended up doing it the day after boxing day, 6 months after I planned to do it. Now, I won't be so nice about it because it was an extra six months of me being unhappy. Go with your gut instinct, it's better than caring about their feelings I guess.

If you want to give him another chance based on his efforts, stay together and see the band together, that's ok. If you only stay with him because of the concert and plan to break up just after, that's an asshole move. Don't be a ****.
