When my grandpa quit chain smoking after 40 years he used lemon drops. Whatever you do kudos and good luck.
Stay strong, OP. This will pass in time. Although, it might have been easier to quit one and then the other...
In that mood I'd recomend public transit, at the wheel of a 10 tonne killing machine is a bad place to be if you might snap at any moment.
Sounds like the drinking and smoking are the least of your worries. Jeez.
Not sure about the smoking but as a bartender I have gone for long bouts of not drinking to help detox from the job. Best advise, sweat like the other said, and stock up on some type of healthy sugary drink. Most alcoholic drinks are loaded with sugar, and thus when you quit drinking you also can experience crashes in blood sugar.
you can do it op! ot gets easier & it's totally worth it!
I know the feeling. I quit smoking cold turkey. I wanted to kill people at first. It's not easy, but you can do it. Good luck, OP!

Maybe it's best to avoid guns, weapons, and such for now...
Take a deep breath. Things will get better.
