What is submitting to every whim? I must be dumb
I would still go on with my daily life he can't control how she lives her life I would just take it as a joke and not care
Until you **** over his daughter and a shooting "accident" happens.
I personally find his behavior atrocious and childish. If he can't trust his daughter to find a good guy and take care of her in a relationship then he obviously didnt raise her right. Threatening violence is a great way to serve jail time. If he was serious tell the cops. No really. Do not be intimidated. He sounds like an asshole
Ask her what she thinks about it and if she agrees then break up and stay the **** away from her.
Dont worry OP, usually they just want to see if u are serious about the relationship or just playing around.
Things like this sicken me. Let's flip it for a moment. If it was some son's parent threatening the same thing to their son's girlfriend saying "Submit to my girlfriends every whim or die" that just seems wrong... Closer to slavery then a relationship I'd say. A relationship is supposed to be about two people who love and trust each other being equals in every way. It isn't supposed to be one side living in complete and object terror of the other... That's abusive, not a good relationship. "Oh God, did I was the dishes before she gets home?! If I don't her Dad will kill me!" As a parent I can understand wanting the best for your kids, but at the same time you should have raised them well enough to know that they will come to you if there's a serious problem with their relationship. You don't need to bully and threaten their partner just to prove you're still a rude person.
So he showed you the bullet for the gun you stole from him so he wouldn't try and threaten you? Genius OP. Pure genius.
Probably just trying to scare you, but be careful... You never know!
