Today, I met this really nice guy at the mall and he gave me his number. Later that night, I texted him. We got on the subject of food, and I started talking about how much I love veal. He responded with saying I was supporting animal murder, that I should go to hell and lose his number. FML

Well, I mean, it's not the most politically correct meat on the planet. It seems he may be a vegetarian. You should probably lose his number anyway. I mean, you met him at the mall.

Wow, well if hes going to be like that for not being vegan, not worth your time. I'm vegetarian myself but I realize it's not for everyone.

so basically, it's okay to eat cows, pigs, chickens, and fish, but if someone started buying puppies, dogs, cats, and kittens and started brutally killing them that would be completely brutal and the person should go to prison? in many foreign countries they eat dog meat as part of a normal diet.

@8: Veal isn't killed even 'somewhat humanely'. Veal is a baby cow, usually younger than about 30 weeks, and kept in crates too small for them to even turn around. I'm not vegetarian by any means, but veal may is where even I draw the line. And the liberal left is just as tolerant as the conservative right, so don't even go there. However, this guy is a little radical about it, I'd say. People take this shit way too far.

Ok...so in other words you dodged a crazy person and you still get to eat meat. Where's the real FML here? Probably that you love veal. It tastes nasty to me = Although I guess the "preparation" of it kind of puts a bad taste in my mouth. Then again, the animal is just going to be consumed anyway, whether it's early in life or later on.

Veal is probably one of the worst meats you can eat. If you don't know why - look it up, it's awful. So I don't blame him for ditching you. I agree with #177. I'm not vegetarian/vegan but I would never eat veal. That's just f***ed up.

Did you know PETA thinks we should hunt whales? They say since 1 whale = about a bunch a pigs then whales are fine to hunt. Lets forget the fact that they are rare/endangered. PETA to me is a hyporciritical bunch. And you know some Vegans and Vegetarians are ok just as long as they aren't screaming their faces off at you. Lose the jerks number you are better off without him.
