Today, I needed to borrow money from my girlfriend. I went into her bag and pulled out the money all while a lady watched me open-mouthed. Turns out it wasn't my girlfriend's bag. It belonged to the lady watching me. FML

Today, I needed money to go to the movie. I asked my mom if I could reach in her purse and grab a few bucks. When I opened up her purse her phone started to vibrate. I yelled over to my mom that her phone was ringing. She said the phone was next to her. I looked in the purse. It was a vibrator. FML

I'm not sure if it's just the wording of this, but it sounds like the OP didn't ask their girlfriend for the money, in which case YDI. If it is just the wording, then FYL, and sorry for assuming anything else.

Just tell her it was a misunderstanding, op. And next time, be sure to ask permission before sticking your hand into your girlfriend's purse. Even if it was hers, just taking is disrespectful, and a passerby seeing you do this could assume you were stealing. ydi.

Maybe OP did ask...and his girlfriend said to just grab it from her purse. When I couldn't be bothered to grab something out of mine for someone, or if I was busy, that's what I'd do. What I'm more concerned about is why the lady just stood there and didn't say anything? not even a, "hey what are you doing?"
