I'm also diabetic, when I first got diagnosed this happened a couple times because I couldn't tell the difference between the diet and normal. Most of the time now I can tell the difference, but some times you're just not sure, so I usually order water then :)
And please Britterss, it's hard to be a diabetic, if he is type two, then I agree, it's not the best for him, but he can still have it once and a while. If he is type one he is free to eat absolutley whatever he wants, he just has to be careful he doesn't pass his carb intake schedule. If he is going to eat too many carbs, then I'm sure he would just take more insulin, so please don't critisize people.
ITT: Most people are morons, don't know anything about diabetes, or fast food joints for that matter, judgemental people and people who like to tell others what to do with their lives or bodies, and people who don't seem to realize how important it is for employees need to stop ******* up orders for people who have health issues. STOP ******* UP. It's your job, it's not that hard, I'm sure we've all worked at a fast food joint, stop being an idiot and pay attention to the screen right in front of your face.
YDI because there is a very, VERY distinct difference between the taste of regular and diet sodas. Plus, you should've checked your sugar two hours after your meal like a person with diabetes is supposed to.
If there's the danger that you can be very, very sick, why didn't you just pick a bottle of water? This looks like a dumb thing to say but actually...it isn't. Unbelievable that you would still take the risk..
I'm gonna call fake. My parents are both diabetic and drinking one pop isn't going o do that. Also, all you people seriously want someone to get fired over a simple mistake? Chill out!
My dad is diabetic because he had a kidney transplant and it screwed up his entire system... and I can assure you that one drink (with probably around 70 or 80 carbs) can and will do that to you. He's supposed to eat around 60 carbs a meal; so the carbs in that one soda are more than what he's supposed to eat altogether.
WTF they give u a cup and u fill it...unless it's drive through, well u now know **** drivethroughs
not every fast food place gives you the cup to fill yourself!
"And I'll give you two guys, a friendly piece of advise, ok? Don't ever go up to the drive-thru, ok? Always walk up to the counter. You know why? Ok, ok, ok, ok. They **** you at the drive-thru, ok? They **** you at the drive-thru. They know you gonna be miles away before you find out you got ******, ok? They know you're not gonna turn around and go back. So, they don't care. Who that's ******? Oh, Leo Getz. Ok, sure. I don't give a ****. I'm not eating this tuna, ok?" Came to my mind as I read this lol.
what fast food place fills your pop upfor you? fyl for making up a fml.!!!
Oh yes, so because every fast food restaurant you've been to gives you your own cup to fill, every place in the world must follow suit, right? You're a ******' moron.
