Next time OP, if it's something for your own education, just purchase it. Especially if it's a textbook, which you'd most likely need to use frequently.
I hope you know that photocopying a book violates the copyright and is illegal. I think it's ok if you own the book and copy it for your own purposes, but copying one you don't own is definitely illegal. Also, selling that copy is illegal too.
