Today, I realized that my girlfriend had never said anything about the proposal ring I had put into a box of her Froot Loops. When I hinted it to her, she said that the cereal had expired, so she threw out the box. FML

Today, I took my girlfriend to a very nice restaurant. I thought it would be a good place to pop the question. I gave the ring to the waiter and asked him to put it on her dessert plate. When she saw it she picked it up, put it down and said "no". Then she started to eat the dessert. FML

Today, I was going to propose to my girlfriend of 4 years. I took the whole day to cook a nice meal, and stuck the ring in a cookie that I was going to give to her. In the middle of the dinner I was holding the cookie under the table, about to give it to her. My dog ate it. FML

I am going to have to say that this is fake. Do you guys even realize how long a box of cereal takes to expire? Unless he is an idiot and chose to put the ring inside a box of cereal she never eats and has had sitting around for over a year then this is just not true. Plus if he did put it inside an old box of cereal he must not have really wanted to marry her that bad, he either pays no attention to her or knew it would take forever for her to find.

i completely agree. that would be a completely stupid proposal in the first place. I doubt he is next to his girlfriend at the table eating breakfast with her EVERY MORNING. anybody with more than 2 brain cells would think of the possibility that maybe she would finish the box of cereal on a morning when he was at work already etc, etc. FAKE
