I had a girl crying to me once saying that her boyfriend would rather play video games than have sex with her. The reason ladies that we'd rather do something like that is simple. Once you get to a certain level in a game, the next level gets more difficult. You're not rewarding him, or challenging him, or making it exciting enough for him. NOT that it's all your fault either. You two just need to find what spices things up.

What you say is true. I do think that OP's partner should also put in some effort to make it exciting, not just OP. They need to communicate. It's difficult for OP to know what's wrong if her partner won't tell her. If they talk, it'll be easier for them to find something new and exciting that will keep them both happy. It's all about communication.
