sadly, i have been to a few funerals throughout my life. i don't remember ever waiting outside on the steps for the casket. for my grandmoms funeral, we filed out behind the casket as they carried it out. maybe there are different ways to hold a funeral, but if there arent, i smell bull sh*it.
#6, true that some weddings have a dress code. But since when are funerals a black tie event? As for the people being turned, I doubt every single face was turned that the OP couldn't see one of them. And the saying is to assume makes an ass of of u and me.
The image that came into my head is hilarious from this.
Something very similAR HAPPENED to me. Me and a friend were walking down the stree and saw a bunch of people in fancy clothing outside the church. Me and my friend started skipping and singing the bride song, then a herse pulled up and a tiny coffin came up. I nearly threw up I was so ashamed.
