Today, I was driving 3 of my guy friends to a party that was half an hour away. There was an awkward silence for most of the trip. I just figured out why now. I've had sex with all 3 of my guy friends. They talk about it when I'm not around. FML

This is what I meant by defence by proxy. The need to reinforce that others are inferior -- the assumption, most likely false, that they are virgins -- coupled with the fact that the person is admittedly a ****. The only way they can feel better about themselves is by attempting to put a perceived inferiority on others. This is textbook abnormal psychology stuff, real Freudian defence mechanisms run amok.
