Today, I went out to buy a bottle of wine and some condoms. As the cashier scanned the condoms, she snickered and muttered, "Yeah right." She was right; I really was just desperate to look like I have a sex life. I got so upset that I left my items and walked out with tears in my eyes. FML

Doesn't matter if she was right, she acted unprofessionally. I'm so sorry she treated you like that. You'll find someone special.

I realize you must care about what others think, but it really doesn't matter what they think. Don't feel the need to fake it.

I would go back and complain to the cashiers boss. Doesn't matter if the cashier was right she has a job to do and insulting you isn't it. I would make sure she got fired that's totally uncalled for.

who the hell is she to judge...she is a cashier....you should report her to her manager

Why would she laugh at someone who wanted to get drunk and make balloon animals? Sounds like a perfectly fun evening for someone who doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell at getting laid.

Don't worry about it man, who cares what people think. I bought a blow-up sheep a couple years ago as a gag gift and I didn't care what the cashier thought of me, I only thought of freaking her out. Now whether or not I had sex with it is another story for another day.

All dressed up with no place to go- the sequel.

The wine was the give away with condoms...

well it's not all about sex anyway. who cares if you do or don't live your life

I don't get why people need to show to random strangers that they have a sex life. Wtf, why ? I mean who cares !

You're not a piece of shit, as your name suggests. You're not pathetic. The cashier was a bitch, but that is not a reflection upon you. Don't try to prove anything to anyone else, not the people you see at work or school, not the cashiers or pedestrians in the street, because the only thing that matters is your own self-worth, and your own peace. Your sex life is your own personal business, and sex itself is not essential. Having sex does not alter who you are as a person nor does it impact the quality of relationships that you can provide. Somebody out there is waiting to love you. Go get some counseling, battle your self-confidence problems, wake up every god damn day and smile into that mirror. Don't ever let them see you cry.
