tweezers idiot
You are supposed to use fire, but not by directly holding the flame to the tick. You use a lighter to heat up metal tweezers and grab the sucker and gently pull. The scorching heat causes them to let go and you don't risk leaving the head under your skin. This method usually works although sometimes they don't let go on the first try, just heat it up and try again. So unless you have very shaky hands I think you can safely remove it.
use tweezers and grab the tick as close to your skin as possible. don't squeeze too hard or it will puke inside you and increase the risk of disease and infection. tweezers are the safest way to get a tick out of your skin. use the alcohol or peroxide after it's out to clean the wound
Also why is everyone saying burn it after you remove it? It's a blood-sucker but not a vampire you don't have to perform a burning ritual to get rid of it, just flush the sucker.
Because burning it would be fun.
actuallyy , you can pull it off , but the only way to kill it is with fire . duhh .

fire wins all the time
Fire is how you kill them. You can get them off with tweezers. Just make sure you don't leave ANY part of the tick inside of your skin or on your eyelash or whatever.
