Today, I got an iPhone for my middle school graduation, but my parents stole the iTunes gift certificate that came with it and gave it to my brother. Now I can;t put any music on my phone. FML.
#13 so what? She gets to use everything else on the Iphone.
he was being sarcastic retard
fake. what parent would do that without at least getting you something else
welcome to adulthood.
This is worse than getting no gift. If you didn't get anything, it just means your parents are non-materialist or expect some kind of heightened maturity from you that your sister doesn't have. And how could anyone say he deserves this?
agreed
buying something for a middle school graduation, but not for a birthday, is just favouritism. Not non-materialism or whatever else.
@9: I think it's less that he just got a $5 gift card and more that the parents are so obviously favoring OP's little sister. It may just be me but graduation from middle school isn't really a big step. But turning 18 is a pretty big deal. You're finally an adult. But the small event merits an expensive iPhone for the younger sister while the OP gets something that was free along with her gift. I'd be pretty upset too
