Today, it's my 18th birthday. Last month was my best friend's 18th birthday. She spent the night with me, and the next morning, my mom and brother gathered in my room and sang "Happy Birthday" as they handed her pancakes with a candle on top. Today, I was woken up by screams to take the trash out. FML

Today, I celebrated my birthday with my friend who has the same birthday by going out to dinner with a bunch of our friends. The waiter brought out a cake for my friend but not for me. No one noticed my exclusion. I sang happy birthday on my birthday. FML

Today, I turned 17. My parents completely forgot it was my birthday, and when I reminded them, my dad thought it was my 18th. He was ecstatic and mentioned that I can "finally get the hell out." FML

I really dont like the these fmls where people are like NO ONE REMEMBERED MY BIRTHDAY, but it is not good that the people close to you did not remember. BUT on the other hand, aging is nothing to celebrate so its pointless to be upset about.

What are you complaining about? You got a free apple pie! Maybe they knew it was your birthday, so that was your gift. :] But they seem smarter then the people at my McDonalds. I ask for a Raspberry Tea, and they give me a Sprite. WTF!?
