Shut the hell up. The only thing this generation has done different than past ones sexwise has to do with the technology available to them. My grandmother lost her virginity at 15 in 1942, and I know some her friends did too. I'm so sick of hearing about "this generation."

At 13, you don't give the kids a box of condoms or birth control pills, a slap on the back, a hi-ho silver and away. Kids that young are generally not responsible enough to deal with the consequences of sex, either physical or emotional. In addition, they are easily (peer pressure) put in a situation where they're basically little more than sex candy for others. I can't tell you how many girls I know that have been in a situation that started out OK and ended up with them being raped. I know that can happen an any time, but it gets more prevalent when the kids are more sexually active.
