I love how staff member 'alan' has deleted two of my posts because I disagreed with him. I wasn't disrespectful in any way, and didn't break any of the 'fml rules'. That's pathetic.
@128, That's happened to me before. Once I got a message saying I broke some rule (wasn't clear what), other times nothing at all.
The moment every dad dreads..
I love how FML staff member 'alan' is being unnecessarily rude to a poster regarding spelling and grammar, and then when I disagree with him my comments are deleted. despite the fact that I haven't broken any 'fml rules'. then im accused of being a troll, for speaking up about alan being a troll.
Thats horrible
I actually was a honour student all throughout school. I maintained straight As in most of my courses, despite skipping classes, drinking and *gasp * having sex at 13. I was neither pressured nor uninformed and it was brilliant. I'm now happily married with three planned kids and a PhD. Thank you.
Nobody is saying that it always turns out one way or another. Let me ask, are you planning on telling your kids that it's OK to have sex at 13 or 12 or whatever, as long as you "know what your doing and can protect yourself"? I'm pretty sure most kids now-adays know about protection yet there are still lots of unwanted pregnancies and STDs.
I'm just not sure she knew what she was saying.... I really hope the OP posts a follow-up because I think we will be surprised at the direction of the family discussion after this comment was made... maybe it gave an opportunity for parents and child to open up dialogue for conversations that really need to be had either way?
Find him and send me the coordinates. No one will ever know.
Hopefully as a 13 year old what she thought was losing her virginity was just kissing?

Don't pretend like any other generation didn't do their share of questionable things.
