Today, my boyfriend and I were choosing animals that reminded us of eachother. I said he reminded me of a tiger because he is really muscular. He told me I reminded him of a zebra. When I asked him why, he said it was because of my stretchmarks. FML

#5, stretchmarks don't occur just because she's "let herself go" - don't be so insensitive. girls naturally get curvier (hips, breasts) during puberty and it can take a few years after puberty is done for them to TOTALLY disappear. they don't need to be reddish - often when they're old they're skin-colored and not as easy to detect. don't be such a prick.

there is another FML where the guy is calling his girl his little zebra because of stretch marks. Get some new content, noname.

I didn't think I'd post here again. #21, Noname is the default given when an FML poster does not enter a nickname.

Why on earth were you talking about that in the first place?!?!?! That's somewhat bizarre.

I lol at the idiots not realizing noname isn't actually a member. Also, get a sense of humor.

stretch marks are no big deal but they may be more of an issue to some people... and btw idk you very well but you should find a new bf because any guy that makes that comment so freely is a fucken dirtbag

some people just need to be prepared for the answer... I mean the guy was just being honest. they obviously dont bother him if he is in a relationship with her. who cares if she has stretch marks... i say OP, dont be so worried... zebras are cute... and if it hurt your feelings, toughen up

So, he's a muscular guy and you're a girl with stretch marks? Odd couple, but who cares! :) He's till with ya, is he not?

Actually, real muscle causes stretch marks. Sissy body-builders, and tools are the only one's who try to get muscle that looks good but lacks function.

I agree with #12. You don't just get stretch marks by "letting yourself go". I still have some on my upper inner thighs from growth spurts during puberty and I'm fairly skinny. To the OP: I hope he was at least being somewhat playful about it.
