Your dad rocks!!!! Unlike ur choice in men.
And once again, it's in Texas. I really hate to be this judgemental, but at least 30% of these stories I hear come from Texas, it's ******* horrifying.
What part of creepy dude in underwear with a just gun is acceptable as a joke or being protective? I understand wanting to be protective but if this is how he treats every guy she brings home she's gonna hate him. Protective is one thing coming across as psycho and potentially dangerous is something else entirely.
I wonder how many fathers who are so protective would be fathers had their other half's father been so ins...cra...stu... completely rational. Personally it would only scare me off if I thought there was a chance they would use it. Unless that happened I's just ignore it as a scare tactic
I think there's more to this story. Why does her dad apparently disapprove of the boyfriend? Perhaps he did something to justify the dad's reaction?
Personally, I wouldn't want to date a wimp who refused to stand up to my father. I highly doubt OP's dad was gonna shoot her boyfriend, he was either joking or trying to intimidate him.
As much as that sucks OP, I would have paid a lot of money for someone to videotape that. I do hope your boyfriend can get on his good side but it just sounds very amusing, fyl.
sounds like my dad which is why I tell my bf, drop me off down the block lol

There are worse things in his lap he could have been stroking.
