Today, my boyfriend got a new job. He'll be over the road for three weeks at a time, and home on the remaining week. Basically, I'll see him once a month. Guess which time of month it'll fall on. FML

OP here again. Wow i haven't been on this site in forever. I can't even see him every month now, I see him every few months, and of course, ALWAYS ON MY PERIOD. That's life I suppose. And no I can't do birth control to EVERYONE who said it, all kinds effected me badly! :)

Well, with modern birth control you can, but seeing as there can be side-effects to them and also a lot of myths still flying around I can see why the OP did not think of this. One fun thing: you can just not take your placebo pills and never have periods again (although when I tried this I got grouchy unless I took the placebo pills twice a year.)

I truly don't understand; the placebo pills do nothing. That's why they're called placebo pills. You dont need to take them if you're on the combination pill and they don't control your period. I was prescribed with the pills for my intense cramps and I don't take the placebos but I still get my period at the start of that row.

The placebo pills are there so you won't have to stop taking pills for a week and then remember to start taking them again. It's easier to remember to take a pill every day.

Or they could take a shower during or after the act and incorporate toys where his mouth usually is. There's really no reason a couple can't have vaginal sex during that time unless either party has a blood phobia.
