Today, my dad took my phone away. This would be fine if I was 14. I'm 22 and pay for all of my own bills. FML

Then why are you allowing your dad to do this?

My mom tried to pull that one on me, so I left.

Call the cops, it's technically stealing, then sit back and laugh

As she may just as well get kicked out, with nothing else. This comment is ignorant... If there was more info, and she actually paid for the plan, phone, and everything else. I can understand a lil bickering, but nothing serious. It is only a phone. It isn't like he took her virginity, or forced her to wear a chastity belt.

what part of I pay all my own bills did you not understand?

So go take it back. Shit, it ain't that hard

If you're still living with your parents, at any age, then technically you're still a child. Either grow the **** up and get your own place or quit bitching.

Um 22 and still living with your parents (I'm assuming)? Can we say LOSER! should have been out the house 4 years ago. Wtf are u doing? Quit trying to PRETEND your grown and say u pay your own bills when u have no concept of BILLS until u live on your own. A Cel phone, maybe a car payment, car insurance, and maybe gas is not "paying bills." YDI

Young adults live with their parents for any number of reasons. Many attend university or start their careers from home. In some cultures, it's the norm. Also, many who live with their parents pay a portion of rent and utilities. Heck, with today's job market and housing costs? It's no surprise that more and more people are sticking around into their mid-twenties. Yeah, it's also possible that OP is a lazy entitled brat, but we don't have enough information to draw that conclusion for sure.

I agree with Pazu. I'm 24 and am living with my parents for the time being. I just graduated from college and moved out of my apartment and can't be on my own again until I get to grad (and get a career). That and I'm European... It's pretty common for children to live with parents up to their late 20s.

Indeed. European usually live in their twenties with their parents, that's not a big deal. Who are you to say he's a loser? Should have moved at 18? It's a little bit young, no? You are the loser, dude. Wherever you live now.

I agree with most of the comments below, but guy with twist downsyndrome, misdbadluck, gtfo and die. I have big boy pants for you, if you need a pair.

I can't take your comment seriously with all those misspellings.

#47 Where I live Its normal to live by yourself when you're 16. So I wouldn't say that your theory on Europeans is correct.
