Oh gosh. That happened to me too! Wanna know what's the worst thing? My mum sided with him. And yes, he was too immature to be in a relationship. It was probably a case of (could have been the) right person, wrong time. I felt bad for him (as he really thought that he was in love with me) though I knew that he was Mr Wrong, but it quickly evaporated when he called my mum to whine that I asked him for money (that he originally borrowed but he neglected to mention that) and that he treats me so well blah blah blah. I felt like the man in the relationship for most of the time after humoring him & buying him the many gifts he asked for! ARGH. Good riddance!

my ex did that same thing. He called my grandmother, whom I live with, crying his face off. Now he's kind of a stalker. He keeps calling me, no matter how plainly I put the fact that I hate him and want him our of my life. When I don't answer, he calls my grandma. lesson here? Choose your boyfriends wisely.

I'm with #75. Men can cry all they want, but going to your partners parents, no matter if you're male or female, is dirty blackmail to try and get them to sympathize with you. People shouldn't be bullied to stay in a relationship.
