Nothing against a little soft side, but keep your cojones for pete's sake!!
oh I think his cojones are long gone :P
Talk about being codepedent, he needs to move on and handle It like a normal guy, not a sobbing child. Maybe he didn't realirealize thats why you don't want to be with him!
How do you define 'normal guy'? We don't know the circumstances but it's perfectly okay for him to cry. He doesn't need to move on til he's ready.
Op my ex boyfriend did the same thing! Did you date my ex ? It's a possibility haha.
That's why you have to deliver break ups in person. With slaps to the face
OP it sounds like your ex should be the one posting an FML. haha.
He may be a bit immature as plenty of others have noted, but maybe he's just really torn up about it and thinks that your parents can talk you back into dating him. All the same, crying to the parents is a low move, if used solely for the purposes of manipulating the situation, and a pathetic move if used for his own consolation purposes.
wow... what's all this shit about manning up? Has it occured to you that maybe he wasn't whining at them, but he may have been really close to them? And come on, is a guy not allowed to cry when a relationship ends? It would be stupid if they were together for a few weeks, but it could have been years, you don't know... And it's likely he'll see her parents a lot less, too.
Amen, I thought I was going insane for reading these comments and seeing nothing but 'frathouse' written all over them. Geez.
Girls always want a romantic, sweet guy... They say at least. This guy shows he cares and gets made fun of. It would be nice not to be the only one crying over the end of a relationship!
Pretty sure 'girls' all have different preferences. And he clearly doesn't respect her saying no. That's not sweet, it's selfish!
Y'know, can't say I agree with many of the comments here. I think this sort of compression on men's expressive lives are why we have all these emotionally constipated, stone hearted douches out there. When they get emotional we almost yell at them for it without realizing. Like a woman could never reduce a man to tears or something. We have no idea what the OP meant to this guy, maybe he was going to marry her, maybe it was a long term relationship that ended in a horrible way. Maybe OP's parents were like parents to him and he loved them so gave them a call to update them and got emotional over the phone. We have no idea but I can't see anything wrong with the guy for having actual feelings. If a woman was doing that and the OP was male, chances are people would be posting here voting YDI and calling OP a douche cause he 'must have done something' to her.

It's ok for a real man to cry every now and the.ln. I cry whenever I hear Nikki Minaj because she's famous and I'm not.
Sounds like he's a bit too immature to be in a relationship.
