Today, my friends had ditched me for a party I hadn't been invited to so I was sitting home alone. The only other thing in my house was the mosquito I nicknamed Fred. I liked to watch Fred fly around and try to suck my blood. Twenty minutes later, I found Fred's dead body. I was actually sad. FML

Today, I visited a friend's house, where I found out he has a trio of very friendly cats in his yard. After playing with them for a bit, I went inside. An hour later, my friend informed me that one of them had died. None of them were showing any signs of being near death. I'm sad and confused. FML

Today, I made my way to bed around 4am after spending all night hanging out with my family. When I got to my bed, I started to clear a spot to lay down. Almost immediately, my hand touched something furry and cold and, fearing the worst, I turned the light on. Turns out my cat left me a half eaten rodent. FML

oh my gosh, my sister and i totally had a fly named fred for a day when we were little kids! sadly, my mom killed it with a fly swatter

BS. The way I tell is if it's a mega sized mosquito it's a male, if it's tiny then it's female. Also, crash the party next time. If you have to dress up in some sort of stupid costume so no one knows your true identity. Trust me I've done it before.
