god this is so depressing... i can just imagine it 1 week later: Girl: Hey, what's with [insert ex-boyfriends name here] lately?? Friend: He's mentally depressed. Girl: Why? because i left him? Friend: No, his Grandad died last week. Girl: .... oh. oh. shit.
If not calling is enough reason for her to break up with you, you're better off.
I agree, If my boyfriend didn't call me for a few days I would be concerned not angry. I would be worried about him never even think about breaking up with him.
what a bitch, but your gramps didn't have a landline?
Wow it's horrible she didn't believe you... but if you look at it from a girls perspective she was probably freaking out she couldn't reach you... and really if you cared for her (or were semi serious bout her at least) you should have cared enough to let her know you were going up to see your grandfather, or call from a land line, something. You really should communicate with your girlfriend if you are going to be gone a few days, it's rude and inconsiderate (even in tough times like yours) not to. I know I would be super worried if my bf did that to me. But she did go a little far calling you a liar.....that was rude...
She sounds like a clingy beotch anyways.
He didn't have time to give a heads up, his gramps was ******* kickin it!

You were lucky to find out what a bitch she is. Mourn over your grandpa, forget her.
Well, if she can't handle not getting calls from you for only a few days, that seems clingy. Perhaps this is a good thing.
