You deserved to have it confiscated for having it out in class, but not to have the screen shattered. Make the teacher pay for a new screen, and next time, don't have your phone out in class. Or if you're stubborn like me, just don't give it to them. Atleast that way you know it wont get broke.
256 your an idiot. A police officer doesn't even have the right to search your car without permission or a warrant. The only thing they can check is your locker cause its technically the schools property. It makes me laugh how stupid some people are with these comments.
You should have had it in an otterbox so that wouldn't happen. You also shouldn't of had it out in class. So, sorry about your loss, but YDI for not following rules and nor being smart enough to have an iPhone in a protective case to begin with!
Your teacher should have to pay for that!
If she dropped it. She is paying. Take it to the school board
Sounds like that iPhone is ancient HISTORY! Get it, because it was the history teacher?? I'm sorry this thread was pun-free and that was the best I could think of.
Make sure that bitch pays up, or at least complain to the school and demand they pay for repairs. You don't deserve it because you used your phone, you just did what every kid does at least once. But that teacher can take it but if she breaks it, that's her fault, not yours. FYL.
YDI for having it out. But FYL because once she takes it she becomes responsible for it. An if it is damaged it would be her fault. Teachers can take phones but they can't damage them. Make sure she pays.

Make sure she pays for that
You probably could make her pay for it. Sure you weren't supposed to be using it in class, but that deserved confiscating, not BREAKING. (Also don't they have cases and stuff that you can get so that kind of shit doesn't happen? Otter box or something?)
