That's um.... That's not really that funny. Don't let that get to you. It was very immature and thoughtless for her to say that. I know because I've said that shit before to my adopted sister in the heat of an argument and felt TERRIBLE for it. I still feel bad.

What has happened to your mother? Adopting is a wonderful, selfless act which nobody undertakes lightly and clearly she treated you like her own child or you would know that you were adopted long before now. Menopausal at all?
