that's funny! but remember to use Please excuse my dear aunt Sally! - parenthesis, exponents, multiplication, division, addition, subtraction!
Yes it is! P for parentheses, E for exponents, M for multiplication, D for division, A for addition, S for subtraction. and the order of that DOES matter.
hmm that sound better than BODMAS which uses 'brackets' and 'of'. looks like the Aussies skipped out on the exponents :P
81. lmao I'm from Sydney, I was taught BODMAS too, 13s example sounds better. we were robbed!!
Our 'O' is 'Orders' which is our equivalent word for exponents..
Here in Canada, it's B for Brackets, E for Exponents, D for Division, M for Multiplication, A for Addition and S for Subtraction. BEDMAS. But it doesn't matter if you add or subtract first. That's the way I was taught.
D and M are as they occur left to right but before A and S which you also do left to right. It's a confusing way to teach it really because a LOT of people think you have to do division before multiplication or vice versa when in fact they go L to R
Hey look at it this way. He is going to grow up to be a doctor or a surgeon. You on the other hand... That's why your teaching the 2nd grade! Nothing wrong with that!
"Hey, look at" -incorrect punctuation after "hey" "look at it this way:" -needs a colon at the end "You, on the other hand" -incomplete sentence *you're teaching - wrong "your" "Nothing [...] that" - lacks a verb Don't disrespect teachers, dick.
at least you know your doing a good job at teaching him
You look like a long haired Jimmy Fallon
well all I can say, is that I feel jealous from the students you are teaching :p
everyone makes mistakes, my calculus teacher actually gives out lollies to people who correct him. don't worry about it. =)
your stupid.
How many times do you need to be corrected by simply adding an apostrophe and another letter? Every now and again fml comments forget a letter here or leave out an apostrophe there but #15 typed your doing a good job instead of you are or you're, then this dude only a few comments below types it the same way. Honestly how many people have to use your incorrectly before it is understood that your and you are/you're aren't-are not-the same word?
The day people abandon their egos and take a look at how stupid they are as opposed to merely criticizing the stupidity of others is the day we actually get some effort directed towards correcting terrible ingrained habits. In other words, #65... you'll be waiting until the stress and frustration put you in an early grave :(
Well said 85. 65, you need to calm down. It's not a big deal.
If I had a kid and he/she/it was in your class you'd be out of a job before the end of the day. Everyone makes mistakes but not something as basic as that.
I bet you've made some mistakes in your life worse than that.
So you would be one of those annoying parents that call up the school complaining about every little thing and trying to get everyone fired? My mom is the vice principal of a school, people like you make her job a living hell.
One mistake you just made was referring to another human being as "it"
