We didn't really study many Latin countries in high school. I knew of its existence and it's general whereabouts but I didn't know exactly where it was until I took Spanish in college. I know know where and what the capital is for all the Latin american countries.

@everyone who said not everyone knows... there was a survey done and most Americans can't even locate countries they have been at war with.. UK Vietnam Russia and Cuba. so this FML doesn't surprise me...go learn some geography please or visit another country to see how other people live. the sad fact is I'm part american. but I know where shit is. now, OP you could get him to pay for a holiday over there for you two, I hear its quite mild this time of year.
