you know what, i don't understand how your life is ******.. you have a family that obviously cares about you and wants you to be happy. they were serious about it, and gave you a gift. if they had money to kick around and jokingly signed you up for it but then you used it, it would be different, but they want you to be happy obviously. and the 12 months thing, im betting you can only pick intervals like 6 or 12 months or something like that...since its people searching for legitimate relationships, they aren't going to rush into every opportunity and it will take a decent amount of time.

You'll be thanking them when you find someone through that service. How quickly do you expect to find love? A day, a month, 6 months? A years seems perfectly logical.
