Seems to me that you dodged a bullet.... Look at it this way: if a ladybug was 3 feet away from you, that psycho chick would be long gone with half of your stuff after your exchange of vows
Okay that's stupid if you can't trust your man to not cheat then maybe you shouldn't be with him. My man can have girls who are friends because I trust him.
If you can't lie smoothly about other women, you're not fit to be married. You have to be able to tell her with a straight face that the pants don't make her look fat and that her cooking is delicious. Honesty? Pshaw!
In my mind, it's a girl that can't take honesty and needs to be lied to that isn't fit to be married.
I agree, Perdix, to an extent. Be honest about the important stuff, but lines like... "Whoa! Someone's been hitting the dessert bar." while patting his/her belly, "You smell like BO." right when he/she gets home from work & hasn't made it to the shower yet, "You're gonna wear that?! In public?!" during swimsuit season, or "You're starting to look/act like your mom/dad." are good examples of truths which do not need to be told in any relationship. Or, at the very least, learn to tell the truth tactfully.
Dumb move! You should've said "I can't tell you, it's a surprise!"
Shawn??
Why would u even want to marry a girl who would freak out that much over that little thing?
Refusing to say anything would make me suspicious to. Something along the lines of it's a surprise, don't worry, could have saved you the break up.
I doubt a girl that paranoid would not have been fine with that sort of explanation. That level of jealous girl probably had already decided he was cheating the moment she saw the name on the phone. Nothing could have changed her mind if she did.
i don't understand why you wouldn't just tell her who it was. it seems like you love the drama/attention.

Hey man you gotta learn how to lie.
You could have told her that it was because of a present to her... Then no loose ends to misunderstand on :) Fyl though, she sounds kind of insecure.. If she really love you, maybe she will want you back
