Today, a girl came up to me on the street and said, "You have like no swag, bro." Feeling clever, I said, "At least I have a high school education." She then took out her work ID, showing me that she was a surgeon, flipped me off, then walked away saying, "This is totally going on Facebook." FML

That's awkward for you, OP. I'm curious as to how you thought someone using the word "swag" means they have no education? A diploma is not an automatic stopper for stupid slang. For that matter, using slang on her free time doesn't make her an incompetent surgeon, so I really don't understand where all the judgment in the comments is coming from. Is it suddenly wrong to use casual speech on your own time (even if the words used are eyeroll-worthy)?

No, but it is wrong to march up to strangers and insult them, just for the purpose of waving your degree in their face when they try to defend themselves. She is just proof that you can have the intelligence to get through medical school, and still be a tacky human being.

Am I the only one who thinks of the possibillity of that ID card being complete bull?. I mean seriously you know how EASY it is to make a regular drivers liscence/ID a work ID would be JUST as easy. As someone else stated everyone whatever career they have isn't serious 24/7 but this is ridicoulous no grown adult women who has been through the bull sh*t of becoming a surgeon would have the mind set of a tween and go up to a stranger and start a fight over their "swag" also if she is a true surgeon that would require he atleast 10 years education and practice before she was a actual surgeon so this would mean she to be in her early to mid 30's. your not a TRUE surgeon till all of your education is done and no one would actuttaly hire you as a surgeon untill 10+ years of schooling and practice is finished, then you would have a work ID as a surgeon. if your talking about some 20 something foolish girl that came up to you...guarantee you the work id is fake
