Today, I broke up with my fiancé after he cheated on me, and he now refuses to move out of the apartment. I'm even contemplating just offering him my Xbox One as a bribe so I can get him out of my life for good. FML

He'll have to sleep sometime. When he does, move his ass outside and lock the door.

It's moments like these I'd heavily consider the possibility that I'm living inside a Microsoft ad, OP.

Don't be ridiculous. Get out of the Office and take the Edge off. Open some Windows and look at the Visual. Get Access to a new Outlook on life. Go on, become an Explorer and Excel at it.

Best comment I've seen in a long time, thanks :D

Offer him a swift kick in the nuts and two in the teeth if he doesn't move out.

A kick to the nuts doesn't solve all the worlds problems

And OP would need to be a martial artist to give two proper kicks to the teeth.

if it's your place wait til he's gone and put all his stuff on the front lawn and change the locks. you are the one preventing him from not moving out.

Depending on your state's laws, it doesn't even matter if he's on the lease. Someone living at a place for two weeks is enough to establish tenancy, requiring them to be legally evicted through the civil court process. This is certainly true this example. In these cases, calling the police is a waste of time, as there is nothing they can do about non-criminal matters. It sucks, but if he's going to be a petty d-bag (the d-bag part is proven), you moving out will resolve the issue faster.

You seem to be on of the few people who understand the rights of tenents, paying or not.

Az has less of that bullshit than states like California, but it's still a bitch to get anyone out, especially if he can prove he provided rent money. In all honesty though, none of that matters since its gonna be easier for op to get a new apartment than it will be to get rid of her boyfriend unless he willingly leaves. If she's in Tucson or Phoenix, there are no shortages of cheap apartments.

Bring a guy home and **** him loudly, that ought to make your ex wanna leave real fast

If you're head of household on the lease you can kick him out. If not, talk to your landlords about options to either evict him or let you move into a different unit.

Oh ******* hell no. No asshat needs to be rewarded for cheating. Be a shrew, poke him in the face with a hot poke, whatever, you can him out of there. But do NOT give him a present basically for cheating on you. The ******** deserves a good kick to the balls, not a console.

....... Why don't YOU move out? Wouldn't that also solve the problem?

it would solve the problem OP not having to have her cheating ex constantly in her space, but it doesn't seem fair that she has to go, when he's the one who ****** up.
