Today, I decided to smoke a cigarette while I was driving to work. I was also eating french fries during the drive. I had never realized how much a cigarette feels like a french fry. In conclusion, cigarettes don't taste very good when you bite into them. FML

"Today, I decided to smoke" YDI.

so you can do that to someone that eats bacon both cause cancer

Dolts, all around. Smoking doesn't give you cancer, geniuses. It raises your risk of cancer. That's like saying don't drive because you will be in a car crash. Smoking has a lot of issues, such as reminding me that I constantly breathe in the air other people have already breathed out. It smells bad to many people, and makes smokers look a lot worse with time. What you don't seem to get: They have that right, and in most places inside of the US, you don't get a ticket for eating while driving, or even using your cell phone. It's completely legal. Does it mean you should? Well, no. Distractions while driving are dangerous. But driving in the first place is dangerous, too. For instance: when the speed limits were lowered, the number of accidents INCREASED. Why did they do it? less (percentage wise) accidents were fatal. Why don't they ban eating while driving? Because most people have ridiculous commutes to work. It's an hour and a half to work. So I guess that even though there is a drive through on the McDonald's I should just go home, right? And for the people going on about how fast food in unhealthy: Go watch McLibel, please. They were sued because of the fact that most of what they said was incorrect. The correlation between fatty foods and higher risks of heart disease have been shown to be a POSSIBILITY, and not even a statistical fact. And even then: so long as you don't have a country where the health care is provided by the government, why would you care what someone chooses to do? So long as they are informed of their choice and choose to do something, then who are you to say anything? I'll stick with my Burger King, Taco Bell, and stay in good shape, thanks.
