Today, I desperately tried to explain to my boyfriend why he shouldn't talk about the bible during sex. He honestly doesn't understand. FML

That's a bit weird. The bible is bollocks anyway, I personally prefer Darwin's take on things.

what that idiot? I can disprove what he says and anyone can if you think about it.

You can disprove what Darwin said? Try me.

sounds like my jesus freak, abstinant ex...

Obviously they're not abstinent if they're having sex.

Well someone ought to teach him about fornication then, he must go to a moron church.

who the hell even cares? you act like it's a crime to do that. dumb bitch...

you are either both freaks or you need to get far away from the uni-bomber. WTF is this world coming to?

Maybe he gets off on religious things? If so, and you want to pander to his leanings, rent a nun costume or get a choir robe and wear sexy underwear or nothing under it. If you don't want to deal with the religion during sex, tell him he's about to shake the dust off his sandals.

Learn a couple of bible quotes to fire back at him so he can get a taste of what you get. Either you both will be saved or you'll both burn in the eternal hell fires, either way you'll be together.

Obviously HE doesn't think he is doing anything wrong if he's talking about the bible during sex. I think it's OP that has the problem. (Unless he's saying what he's doing is wrong, then you should run for your life in the other direction because he's a hypocrite.) If you honestly feel guilty when he talks about the bible, then perhaps you should not have sex. My boyfriend and I both read the bible front to back, and we have the hottest sex ever when we agree on an interpretation from the bible. Both of us are church goers, neither of us see what we are doing is wrong.

This. If talking about the Bible during sex makes you uncomfortable, it's because you feel like you're doing something wrong, in which case you shouldn't be having sex. I'm not saying whether what you're doing IS wrong, that's your own decision to make.

If talking about the Bible during sex makes you uncomfortable, maybe you just don't find the Bible very sexy? I mean, it's about akin to talking about politics while having sex. Very much a turn-off.

But usually a turn-off doesn't make you uncomfortable. It just makes you... not horny.

I'm actually personally embarrassed for you.
