in my opinion u should always listen to ur pet even if it is to just complain because u never know if its sickness or needing love and all pets are different and some do let u know when they are in pain or sick so i dont blame u but the next pet u own listen to them and be aware of their behavior
every1 that says ydi are just assholes. how were you supposed to know something was wrong with your cat. i guess every single person that did ydi are cat experts right? i guess you all know the difference between "meow (i want attention)" and "meow (im dying)" right? i have a cat that is so inconsistent in wanting attention. sometimes he meows to be pet. other times he meows.... and then barfs (or hairball).
he was hungry stupid
This made me laugh so ******* hard. OP, shoulda fed the damn cat!
Creep.
i don't see how the OP deserves it. my cat meows randomly all the time, and it's easy to ignore. LOL SHES ACTUALLY DOING IT NOW. so i don't see how the OP deserved her cat dying just because she ignored a couple meows.
Exactly I mean the OP has clearly demonstrated the proper way to take care of a cat should have more :D _______________________ www.myspace.com/rapid99
If I took my cat to the vet every time he howled, I would never be able to LEAVE. My cat howls CONSTANTLY. Doesn't matter what time of day it is, doesn't matter if he's been fed or has attention, he howls. If he's awake, he's howling. A lot of cats do this. That doesn't mean they're trying to say goodbye, it doesn't mean there's something wrong with them. Anyone who says otherwise has never actually owned a vocal cat. Yes, sometimes I worry that my cat howls because something is wrong with him.. but when he's sick (he's had to go to the vet once or twice) he doesn't howl. He hides. He acts completely different. Some cats don't give warnings though. My brothers cat acted completely normal until about 10 seconds before he died, when he stopped his normal wandering, let out an odd meow, and then fell over dead. The OP did not do anything to deserve this. Noisy cats are noisy, that does NOT mean something is wrong. I wish people on here would grow up and learn to use their brains before posting, or at least do some freaking research.
Cats howl? _____________________________ www.myspace.com/rapid99
They do indeed. My cat was abandoned and now hates cars. Everytime we try to take him somewhere, he makes noises like he's being tortured. Poor thing.

I really wish I could've seen my cat and said goodbye before she died... Which was November 5th, 2005. My mom and I got to the vet just after she was put to sleep, since she had cancer. I went in the room to pet her and say goodbye, but it was so hard and absolutely terrible. She was my first actual pet & she was the BEST cat ever. I cry every time I think about her. I'd give anything to have her back, even for just a day.
sorry to hear,im the same because i've had a few cats (im 16) have two now.but wow i'd never be able to see one get put down.this was actully the first FML that made me change my mood
Is!

it's more like your cat's FML "Today i was dying and i was trying to say goodbye to my owner, she just ignored me. FML"
that's horrible. poor cat.
