Today, I ordered some burgers at a fast food joint. When I said, "No lettuce," the cashier looked dumbfounded and asked, "What's that?" I literally had to say, "The green stuff" before she got it. I'm losing hope. FML

Today, at Burger King, I was coming back from break. A customer screamed at me because she ordered a double cheeseburger without pickles, and they were put on anyway. She threw it in my face. My face was covered in ketchup mustard and pickle. Did I mention I was on a break and had nothing to do with this? FML

Today, while working at a sandwich shop, we had a shortage and could only put so many veggies on one sandwich. I explained this to one man who was grumpy about it, but kept on ordering. I thought everything went well. He thought my face was a good target to launch his completed sandwich at. FML

At least it was a fast food joint and not an actual restaurant. A few weeks ago my little brother asked our waitress what kind of soft drinks they had; she had no clue what we were asking for until we said soda.

I have new cocktails servers that'll ring in ex: Vodka with coke because the customers ordered "Vodka /soda". That usually means Club soda. They have no idea what that is or the difference between that and tonic. :P

I was in Louisiana last week (working) and came across a fellow that didn't understand that the country folk call all sodas "Coke". He ordered a Coke, they asked him what kind and he just stared at them like they were from outer space.
