Today, I was babysitting a 4 year-old with a speech impediment. I asked her, "Do you got your bag?" And she said, "No. I have my bag. Babies say got. I'm a big girl." I am 20 years old and in the honors program in my college. I was corrected by a 4 year-old with a speech impediment. FML

I agree with #5. That's not even an excusable grammar mistake. It sounds terrible and just because she has a speech impediment, that doesn't mean she's stupid.

Dear Everyone, Would you kindly stop acting like pretentious ass-***** and brown stains on the ass of the world by saying that "she has bad grammar" and that "shes an idiot". really!? listen to anyone talk, ANYONE, and find me ONE person who uses proper grammar all the time..She was not teaching the kid, shes ******* babysitting making sure she didnt forget anything. this isnt even a FML..

i totally agree with 189 everyone makes grammar mistakes and certain areas with certain accents people say stuff like "got your bag" all the time like where i'm from which i'm not gonna say cause i know if i do people are just gonna say everyone from around here is stupid which is total bullshit it was probably an accent thing or something and kids aren't taught accents they're taught English and then pick up accents as they go on with life

104 - for it to be a colloquialism there would actually have to be an area of decent size where it is acceptable to say "do you got your bag?" Unlike phrases such as "my car needs washed" "yinz" and "ya'll" that doesn't apply in this situation. So this is nothing more than the OP showing she doesn't understand basic speaking skills - and by her further comments basic reasoning skills either

Anyone whos saying ZOMGWTFBBQ U NEVAR SAY DO U GOT UR BAG! is not event thinking. It is perfectly acceptable to use improper grammar in conversation. And children with poor speach probably practice it with their parents so she would know more than the average kid.
