I was going to say give the dog to a shelter, but it's not the dog's fault she's a bitch. It's not like an iPad you could sell to be petty, with a shelter it could end bad. Saying that, if you know anyone who wants a dog and you trust, give it to them. Who breaks up over the phone. Jesus

If the dog doesn't mean anything to you, sell it or take it to a shelter. It's her problem, not yours.

Take it to a kennel and get the most expensive package, with grooming and fancy food and crap like that. Then give them her name and that she'll pick him up when she gets back. Most kennels don't charge you until you pick them up, in case they damage something or there's an emergency and they have to shell out money for medical bills. She'll have to pay or she won't get her dog back. Revenge for you, and the dog lives in luxury while she's gone. :D

those rights ended when she broke it off with you. you are under no obligation to look after the dog. either keep the dog or give it away. you could be mean and just have animal control come and pick up the dog. or be a bit nicer and give it to an animal shelter so they can look for a new home for it. they have plenty of no kill shelters that will look for a new home for the dog plus you wont need to pay for a kennel while it's in there.
