Today, my girlfriend lost one of her rings. I found this out as I overheard her gushing to her friend about how I must have borrowed it to find out what her ring size is. I have zero interest whatsoever in the sick and utterly immoral institution of marriage. FML

First, the fact that you don't like marriage doesn't make it sick or immoral. Second unless you have made it amply clear to your partner that you don't ever want to get married, they are entitled to think that if things go well, the relationship will eventually lead to marriage. Your girlfriend seems oblivious of the fact that you're so anti-marriage, so it's a **** her life from me

Hey, listen. It's perfectly fine for you to dislike and not be interested in marriage, no one can take your opinion from you...BUT, you should really talk about this openly with your gf, it may be that it's actually something she cares about (hence the daydreaming about the ring) and you have to be prepared to find common ground on this if you want to go on with the relationship further. Communication is key.

Wow. You sound like a total douche in this. Let her know so she doesn't waste her time. She may love you and you may be a good man in person and so maybe she'll stick with you, but if there is this big of a difference in opinion on so important a topic, you might both be better off with other people.
