as i said above call his bluff and if he is serious and bringsa hooker over then you have grounds to leave a toxic relationship. no one should be guilted into sex. marriage is supposed to be about love and respect not sex on tap.

there is nothing wrong with someone not being interested in sex, there is however something horribly wrong with waiting until AFTER you are married to let your spouse know that you are interested in sex. It sounds like they had sex prior to marriage but she figured once she married him then it was no longer necessary, that is being completely dishonest and getting married under false pretenses and THAT is what makes her a horrible person.

Asexual means that you're not attracted to either gender and don't find anyone sexually appealing. It's doesn't describe your willingness to buy flowers and chocolate.

Huh, I totally read that wrong, thought you made a typo. But still the amount of asexual people are estimated to be around 1% of the population. I seriously doubt that is the problem. It's more likely OPs wife is the type of woman that views sex as a chore instead of an intimate bonding activity. Sex is required for a close and successful relationship, it builds trust, intimacy and respect, women that use it as a weapon or a reward disgust me. They seem to only want to marry someone so they don't get lonely.

Why cheat? What's the point in that other than to have your cake and eat it too. If she just sprung this on him and he's not okay with it then he should leave her, not cheat.

No this is not the reason why men cheat or anyone else for that matter. People cheat because they are selfish immoral scumbags. If he cannot stand to be with someone who does not want to engage in sex then he should divorce her.

What if he can't afford a divorce? They aren't free (or even cheap) you know.
