Let me explain. Usually, a cult wants to add anyone it can to bulk up its numbers and take in more money. In this case, one cult thought the OP was such a loser that the sent over another cult to recruit her and not join theirs. I hope everyone else got it.

Woah. You act like everyone knows about us and what we stand for. And that, I know, isn't true. Just the other day, I came across people who have never heard of Jehovah's Witnesses, and they've lived in the area for over 20 years! Not everyone knows - so we go to let people know who we are and what we stand for. If you listen, awesome. You don't - that's awesome too. We're not pushing religion - we're teaching. There is a difference. If we bother you, I'm sorry. Feel free to not answer the door, or if you do, to just say not interested, or something along those lines. Give us some credit man - we come to your door, because we're doing what we feel is right, and we believe your life is in danger. Even if you don't believe it is, and don't care - please keep that in mind. In this day and age - standing for a principle/moral is a feat that many can't or choose not to do. I apologize, though, if we do, or have, inconvenienced you. We try not to - but doesn't always work out.
