Not worth literally risking your life for! FYL.
I do half way agree with you. Yes the cat can go outside or be put in a room. About the choosing pets over humans, to that I honestly think sometimes pets are a better choice (I see a human being no more valuable that an animal ). Also in my opinion I think the father was really choosing the cat more likely he was trying to make his fiancee happy.
How the hell do the comments section get closed on an FML within like 2 hours of it posting? I'm just curious who's in charge of it and why they do it.
Hey, my dad sucks too, :/
Please tell me, that he at least paid for ur hospital treatment!!!
Then I wouldn't go to his house! Ever
So now cats deserve to be homeless because you have a problem...
refuse to visit until he get's rid of the cat your health is more important than visiting
Why should he get rid of the cat. For one the cat isn't his to just get rid of and two OP can meet up with her father at other places besides the father's house.
So refusing to visit is until he removes the cat is ok? You just said that they can meet elsewhere.

Hes an asshole. Sorry Op. You deserve someone better
No he's not. I can't see why OP's dad should make his fiancée permanently get rid of her cat when OP can just take anti-allergy medication before he goes to their house (yes, it really works, and it's cheap). Even if OP lives there, all he has to do is take some Benadryl every day, that's what cat-owners that are allergic to cats do.
