Why does my grocery store provide goods and services JUST SO they can get a reward? I'm a recent college grad, yet unemployed, and I don't have a widower's inheritance, pension, 401(k), any government assistance, etc. If I cared to look it up, I'd probably find that I'm living below the poverty level. Feeding me would be a good deed for the day, why are stores so greedy and selfish, expecting "money" (i.e., UNIVERSAL compensation, #39) for "goods" and "services"? Oh, that's right. THAT'S HOW SHIT WORKS. I forgot. If you get something, then you give something back. If you won't/can't, you make this VERY CLEAR before anything is given that can't be returned (time, labor).

I get that people should help others and feel good about it without getting paid. However if you tell someone theyre going to get paid, you should probably follow through on that. If she said hed get paid he has a right to assume that that means she has enough to give him at least something. If she said she cant afford to give him something up front im sure many people would still help. Not everyone appreciates being lied to. Everyone's saying that they think its cute that she gave him a racecar and how old ladies are innocent. Fairly certain you dont somehow automatically get all cute and innocent when you age. The woman could have just been a bitch. It happens. Old people often rely on others thinking theyre innocent so they can get away with shit. Just like old men are often enough just perverts.
