Today, I got my period. 10 minutes into a 3 hour exam. Apparently they are serious when they say you may not leave the room under any circumstances. FML

If they won't let you leave, whip out a new tampon/pad and do it right there.

lol i was thinking the exact thing but didn't want to say it since it's just too weird

The point is to very ostentatiously start teh process to scare the proctors into letting you go to the bathroom.

the_stereotype 0

that's just disgusting. but i mean if you're that bold, you just say, "do you see this? i need to plug it up, so for the love of god, please let me go to the bathroom."

lol that would be gross but not so bad if it was a pad if it's a tamon.....lmaoooo

I've used that excuse successfully time after time and nothing bad has ever happened to me, no matter what the "rules" were. The beauty part: I'm a dude.

how did you get through with this?? whatever... that must really suck! sometimes I'm really glad that I'm a guy, this moment being one of those times. it must've been a mess xP FYL, I feel with you, although I don't know how it is.

LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! this is the funniest comment made by you plexico!! You are full of win!

Surely they have to let you go to the bathroom, as long as someone accompanies you. Or do they expect you to piss all over the floor if you have to go? But also, anticipate your period. Seriously. Not really that difficult to always carry a pad and learn to count the days.

see my reply to CrossY, not all women have a perfect 28 day cycle, and carrying a pad would still do no good because she couldn't go to the bathroom to use it

I have to disagree here... it is an unfair "process" for some women, i.e not getting a 28days straight process... so, if OP is in that case, she can't "anticipate"! Sorry OP, it sucks

Are you stupid? She says she wasn't allowed to leave the room... Not that she wasn't prepared. What was she suppose to do? Tell the teacher that week is not a good week for her cause there's a good chance the flood gates will open?

I can't believe how many males apparently know nothing about periods. Did you all just fall asleep in health class that day or something?

if it's a male teacher, stand up and scream MY ****** IS BLEEDING, AND IT'S HEAVY FLOW, YOU BETTER LET ME OUT RIGHT ****** NOW!!

I lol'd at this, just imagine the look on his face though ;)

leahlovesya121 0

Seriously! It's like the male teachers don't remember health class! Women get periods. They kind of NEED to attend to that.

I literally laughed out loud at this. Very nice.

I think I just peed. this is the funniest comment i've read thus far

me and my friends use to tell one of our guy teachers that we would just bleed all over his shoes if he didn't let us go to the bathroom, always worked. lol

u should wipe ur blood onto them to teach them a lesson

I agree with #15. Just keep a tampon in your purse. If that happens, just put it in right there. No problemm.

hornetchik 0

Well... whats the problem then?

@ hornetchick, the problem would be that the pad would fill and start to leak.

I thought schools had rules that prevent teachers from keeping female students to tend to their horrible monthly curse. I guess it was only a high school thing.

i understand why they can't let girls out because of that, though. if they did, every female would have an advantage. they could just say that they have their period (it's not like anyone can check) or they could just not wear a pad/tampon when they're expecting one.

yea it's a hard call but maybe they should try to come up with a better solution than just making girls bleed all over their selves because they "might" try and cheat

even when they say "under no circumstances" means u cant go alone druing SAT and IB exams u can go if u have an urgency, just that a supervisor has to go with u and basically watch the whole thing. sucks for u though
