Today, I was dressing in my apartment when I noticed I left the blinds open. Outside, a maintenance man was mowing the grass within eyeshot. I figured I'd leave the blinds open and give him a little peek of the goods. Later I found a note on my window saying, 'Next time, close the blinds'. FML

Today, I saw a woman in the neighbouring apartment taking a shower without pulling the blinds of her bathroom window. As a good Samaritan, I waved my arms to attract her attention that she forgot the blinds. She noticed me, opened the window, did a weird boob dance and middle fingered me. FML

#73, agreed. Furthermore, there is a possibility that he lives nearby. Perhaps property manager of the apartment complex? It could also be a large age difference. Or, he's taken. Many reasons he might be uncomfortable with that situation besides just looks.

#14- when men do this they get ARRESTED. Gay, straight, interested or not, one reason this guy left the note is that he's an EMPLOYEE at your complex and doesn't want to get FIRED for being a supposed peeping Tom (when OP was of course the guilty party, but I can just imagine her letting lose on the building management, vindictively, calling the guy a "pervert" because he humiliated her). The girl is obviously nuts- so why do anything to lead her on or to make it look as if he is encouraging her?
