Also, often people will write FMLs as a joke or deliberate hyperbole. I'm certainly not devastated or thinking I've been profoundly cheated for every FML I submit. I sort of take them as the equivalent of rolling your eyes in a case like this. Writing a snippet of a funny story on a humour website I don't think constitutes an overreaction or being a 'whiny bitch'.
