Today, I went out with a girl I like. After a movie, we went to McDonald's. There was this couple making out. The girl I was with remarked about how lame it would be to go to McDonald's on a date. I thought we were on a date. FML

Today, I went to the movies with a girl I like, then we went to grab a bite afterwards. She spent most of the time telling me how much she dislikes my best friend because he hooked up with a new girl. I then found out the two had been "talking" for a while. FML

I'm sorry, I don't get how you all think she's "high maintenance" If I'm on a date with a guy, I think it should be in a nice restaurant not expensive but not fast food either. When you go on a date your trying to show someone you like them...to me, fast food doesn't show that...at all. I see OP "dates" side on this

Darling, have you SEEN the price of movie tickets, popcorn, and drinks? If OP was going to take her to a fancy restaurant afterward, that would be edging towards $100 or more for a date that apparently never was.
